Dr. Sherwood has been voted as one of the “Best

Dr. Sherwood is board-certified in internal
medicine and geriatrics. She received her medical degree
from the University of Cincinnati and did her post graduate
internship and residency at Temple University Hospital in
Philadelphia. Prior to joining the Health Core Physician
Group, she was affiliated with the Internal Medicine residency
training program at Presbyterian Hospital where she served
as Associate Program Director for sixteen years. Dr. Sherwood
is the chief of the division of geriatrics at the Presbyterian
Hospital of Dallas where she is on the medical staff. In
addition, she is a member of the Dallas County Medical Association,
Texas Medical Association,and is a Fellow of the American
College of Physicians. She currently serves on the exam
writing committee for the American Board of Internal Medicine
certifying exam.
