The office now has the ability to test patients for COVID-19 once ordered by your physician. PLEASE NOTE: These specimens are collected outside of the office with all necessary PPE for our testing team. No patients with COVID-19 symptoms are permitted into the office; these patients are seen via televisit. You must have an approved SWAB appointment. We strongly recommend all patients explore all avenues for the getting the COVID-19 vaccine. If you are able to get the vaccine elsewhere, please do so and do not wait for it to become available through our office. To assist in your search please go to https://www.dallascounty.org/covid-19/covid-19-vaccination.php to register with Dallas County for the vaccine.
Vaccine Finder is a free, online service where users can search for locations that offer vaccinations: https://vaccinefinder.org/
Please be aware that the distribution and allocation of the COVID-19 vaccine is controlled by the Texas Department of State Health Services. Under their current plan the vaccine will not be available to the general public right away. Availability for the general public is not expected until later phases of the distribution plan as laid out by the CDC and Texas Department of State Health Services. Once they do begin to become available, we will be sending notifications to patients via Patient Portal, as well as posting an update on our website at www.healthcoreweb.com.
HealthCore does not have any additional doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. At this time we are not collecting information as future shipments are uncertain. We will update this website as soon as doses become available.
