COVID-19 Office Precautionary Measures

Please be aware that we are only seeing well patients in the office. All patients, visitors, vendors and staff are screened daily for COVID-19 symptoms and masks are required at all times & must cover your nose, mouth and chin.In an effort to reduce the number of people in the office, guests are not permitted to join patients unless the patient requires mobility or communication assistance.

We adhere to social distancing requirements in the lobbies and throughout the clinic. As such, we ask that you arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.

COVID Exposure

Patients with known exposure to COVID-19 and/or patients who have symptoms associated with COVID-19 are seen remotely via Televisit. Click here to prepare for your Televisit appointment.

COVID-19 Testing

The office now has the ability to test patients for COVID-19 once ordered by your physician. PLEASE NOTE: These specimens are collected outside of the office with all necessary PPE for our testing team. No patients with COVID-19 symptoms are permitted into the office; these patients are seen via televisit. You must have an approved SWAB appointment. Once scheduled you will be provided with parking instructions and a member of our team will meet you in the designated testing area. If you feel you need to be tested for COVID 19, please contact our office for a visit/televisit.

COVID-19 Vaccine

HealthCore does have doses of the Moderna Covid Vaccine available. Please ask us today to schedule your vaccine.

Vaccine Finder is a free, online service where users can search for locations that offer vaccinations: https://vaccinefinder.org/

Please be aware that the distribution and allocation of the COVID-19 vaccine is controlled by the Texas Department of State Health Services. Under their current plan the vaccine will not be available to the general public right away. Availability for the general public is not expected until later phases of the distribution plan as laid out by the CDC and Texas Department of State Health Services. Once they do begin to become available, we will be sending notifications to patients via Patient Portal, as well as posting an update on our website at www.healthcoreweb.com.

1B patients Parkland Hospital Covid-19 Vaccine Scheduling Process

  1. Dallas County & Parkland Hospital:
  2. Go to mychart.pmh.org
  3. Open an ACCOUNT with Parkland Hospital
  4. Log in giving all relevant information (for 1B category)
  5. Get a CODE (to you phone/email)
  6. Enter the Code and complete opening an account with Parkland Hospital System
  7. Go to Quick Links (on the right side of the screen) and choose SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT
  8. Select appointment of COVID-19
  9. Select 1B category, as applicable
  10. Select LOCATION and a SCHEDULE DATES for DOSE 1 & DOSE 2
  11. Note your schedule information
  12. Log Off
